**For the Chai Cookie Bars:** 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray a pan with cooking spray or coat with butter. 2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and dark brown sugar. 3. Add eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and stir vigorously until smooth. 4. Add the all purpose flour, 4 tablespoons of chai spice, baking powder, and salt and stir until well incorporated. 5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth out. 6. Place in the oven to bake for 20-30 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out mostly clean. 7. Allow to cool completely, then add frosting. **For the Frosting:** 1. Beat the 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter (room temperature) and cream cheese until combined and smooth. 2. Add in 1/4 cup of powdered sugar, beat until mostly combined, then repeat this step with another 1/4 cup. 3. Add the 0.5 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 0.5 teaspoon of chai spice with the last portion of powdered sugar. 4. Beat until combined. 5. If the frosting is too thick, add in 1/2 tablespoon of milk at a time to reach the desired consistency.
