What you need

cup semisweet chocolate chips

cup granulated sugar

oz cream cheese

tsp baking soda

cup powdered sugar

tbsp milk

cup all purpose flour

cup sour cream

cup unsalted butter

pinch salt

tsp vanilla extract

cup nutella

cup brown sugar

tsp cinnamon

cup ripe banana

cup butter
tbsp vanilla powder

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line/grease a 9x13 pan. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until fully combined. It should look glossy and smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, sour cream, and mashed bananas. Mix until fully combined. Add in the dry mixture, and mix until almost combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 40-55 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. The center should be set but still soft. Internal temperature between 200-205 F means it is perfectly cooked through. Cool completely before frosting. To make frosting: In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy. Add the Nutella, vanilla and salt. Mix until combined. Add the powdered sugar, beating until light and fluffy. To thin the frosting, add in 1 tbsp milk as needed. Frost the fully-cooled banana cake, and drizzle with more Nutella if desired!View original recipe
