Hazelnut Puff Pastry Snowflake

A quick and easy dessert made with ready-to-bake puff pastry and hazelnut spread, shaped like a snowflake and dusted with powdered sugar.

oz chocolate hazelnut spread

puff pastry

Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 F, and set aside a baking tray. Evenly spread a generous amount of Nutella over one of the pastry sheets. Place the other sheet directly on top. Place a circle object in the middle of the circle pastry. Using a knife, cut the dough into 16 equal pieces (the best way to cut the dough, is to cut in half, then cut each half in half again and again and again, until you get 16 strips). Next, working on 2 dough strips at a time, twist each strip outwards then pinch the ends to connect 2 strips together. Repeat with the rest of the strips. Bake on included parchment paper for 15-20 minutes, or until it turns into a golden color. Remove pastry from the oven and dust powdered sugar over the top. Enjoy while it’s warm.View original recipe
