Pumpkin S'mores Bars

What you need

cup granulated sugar

cup unsalted butter

tsp kosher salt

tbsp pumpkin pie spice

oz marshmallow fluff

cup brown sugar

tsp vanilla extract

cup semisweet chocolate chips

tsp baking powder

cup pumpkin puree

cup all purpose flour
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a pan with nonstick spray, or line with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and pumpkin spice. Set aside. In a bowl, mix the butter and sugars until combined well. Add in the egg, pumpkin puree, vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt. Mix until combined. Sift in the flour and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Pour about 1/3-1/2 of the batter into the prepared pan and spread to the edges. Add a layer of chocolate and marshmallow fluff on top. Spread the rest of the batter on top. Bake at 350 for about 50-65 minutes. They are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with no wet batter on it. Baking time will depend on the pan size you use so keep an eye on it! Let cool before lifting the paper from the pan and slicing.View original recipe
