oz smoked paprika

tsp salt

tbsp garlic powder

tbsp olive oil

cup vodka

cup heavy cream

onion

cup seafood stock

oz fettuccine

tbsp tomato paste

clove garlic clove

lb shrimp
lemon

tbsp unsalted butter

bunch parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the pasta noodles according to package instructions. 2. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with paprika, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Toss and set aside while you prepare the other ingredients. 3. In a skillet, heat oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium high. Place shrimp in a single layer and sear, 1 minute per side. Remove from skillet. 4. Reduce heat to medium, add garlic and onion. Cook for 2 minutes until soft and fragrant. Stir frequently. Stir in chili flakes. 5. Add the vodka and simmer for 3 minutes while scraping up the brown bits on the bottom of your skillet with a wooden spoon. Pour in fish broth and bring to a boil. Slowly add the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter, one by one. Stir until completely dissolved and smooth. 6. Add in the heavy cream and let it simmer and thicken up. Add the tomato paste and stir until it’s dissolved. 7. Taste test the sauce and add more seasonings as needed. 8. Add shrimp and cook for 1 minute until heated through. Finish off with lemon juice and add your pasta. 9. Garnish with fresh parsley and more chili flakes. Enjoy!View original recipe
