Cinnamon Muffins with a Powdered Sugar Glaze

What you need

cup all purpose flour
tbsp baking powder

cup granulated sugar

tsp salt

tbsp milk

tbsp ground cinnamon

cup unsalted butter

cup sour cream

cup powdered sugar

tsp vanilla extract
egg
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a 12 count muffin pan with muffin liners. Set aside. In a medium size bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add in the milk, melted butter, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Whisk the liquid ingredients in the well until combined (try to avoid whisking in the flour). Stir the dry and wet ingredients together until just combined. Scoop half of the batter into the muffin tin. Add cinnamon sugar on top. Add another scoop of batter then sprinkle generously with the cinnamon sugar mix. Bake at 400 for 5-6 minutes then drop the temperature down to 350 degrees and continue to bake for 12-13 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Once the muffins have cooled, drizzle with powdered sugar glaze. Enjoy!View original recipe
