What you need

tsp vanilla extract

tsp baking soda

tbsp eggnog

tsp ground nutmeg

cup powdered sugar

cup granulated sugar

egg

tsp rum extract

cup all purpose flour

egg yolk

tsp ground cinnamon
tsp baking powder

tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, spices, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and BOTH sugars. Add the egg, egg yolk and extracts. Whisk until combined. Stir in the eggnog. Add the dry mixture, 1/2 cup at a time and mix until just incorporated. Chill the dough for 30 minutes. Scoop the cookie dough and place onto the prepared pan with a couple inches in between each dough ball. Slightly flatten each ball. Bake for 11-13 minutes until the edges are slightly golden brown and the center no longer looks wet. After removing from oven, allow the cookies to cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack. To make icing, combine the powdered sugar with 1 tbsp eggnog. Slowly add in more eggnog as needed to achieve your desire consistency. Drizzle on top of the cooled cookies!View original recipe
