What you need

cup buttermilk

tsp baking powder

cup all purpose flour

tsp cinnamon powder
egg

red apple

cup white sugar

tbsp unsalted butter

tsp salt

tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside. Beat eggs, milk, and melted butter in a separate bowl until just combined. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet until just moist. Fold in the grated apple. Combine crumble topping ingredients (flour, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon) with a fork until it’s crumbly, being careful not to overmix. Pour half of the loaf batter into the prepared pan, then sprinkle a layer of the crumble topping. Repeat with the remaining batter and crumble. Bake for 65-80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Baking times can vary, so monitor your loaf.View original recipe
