Day 7 of my Fall Cookie Series | Taylor Swift’s Chai cookies (highly requested☺️) the recipe is slightly different than hers but still so good!

What you need
cup vegetable oil

cup powdered sugar

tbsp milk

tsp baking soda

cup granulated sugar

tsp vanilla extract

tsp ground cinnamon

tsp cream of tartar

cup all purpose flour
egg

chai tea bag
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 F, and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, Chai spices, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, oil, and BOTH sugars until combined. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Add the flour mixture to the liquid mixture, folding it in until just combined. Do not overmix. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Scoop dough onto the baking tray. I did 6 on a tray. Bake at 375 for 8-11 minutes, or until edges and bottoms are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool. For icing, combined the powdered sugar. Add in 1/2 tbsp of milk at a time until it reaches your desired consistency. Frost cookies once cookies are cool.View original recipe
